Planned M6 Closure and Diversion for overnight works, 1 March – 29 May 2021

There are planned overnight closure of the M6 with diversions in place from 1 March 2021 to 26 May 2021.  These works are due to joint replacements on the Oxford Canal Viaduct, Nettle Hill.  The works will be overnight Monday to Friday and will result in full closure of the carriageway as follows:

18 March – 9 April M6 junction 1-2 northbound

14 April – 21 April M6 junction 2-1 southbound

26 April – 7 May M6 junction 2-1 southbound

Fully signposted diversion routes will be in place (A428, A5 and M69) – See attached.
