Update on the Essential Maintenance of the A14 as at 11 November 2019

The essential maintenance work continues on the A14 between the M1 junction 19 and A14 junction 2.

Two Week Look Ahead

Work will continue on the network for the next 12 nights. The eastbound activities will be completed on Saturday night, switching to the westbound carriageway on Sunday night. As usual, closures will be from 8pm to 6am, with both carriageways open during the day.

Full overnight closures of the A14 will be in place as follows:

Eastbound – Monday 11 November to Saturday 16 November.
Westbound – Sunday 17 November to Friday 22 November.

Diversion Route

The diversion route will take vehicles to the M1 at junction 15 along the A45 / A43, depending on the driver’s start / destination.  Advice is please allow an extra 15 minutes for your journey.
