Temporary Road Closure of High Street Rugby from 28 October 2019

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HIGH STREET, RUGBY

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing High Street, Rugby, from its Jct. with Barby Lane to the Jct. of Deerings Road, to vehicular traffic.

The closure is required for the installation of a centre island and associated works, 9.30 – 15.30 week days only.

The Order will commence on 28 October 2019 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1 November 2019.

Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

An alternative route will be signed and is available via: A428, A5, A426, B4112, A4071, A428, A426, A428 and vice versa.
